The content created was relevant to both WJEC/Eduqas and OCR exam boards, and an online repository   was also created so that students and teachers can refer back to them as and when required.

Dr Joshua Andrews, Lecturer in Eastern Religions said, “A whopping 733 registered to attend the sessions, and the engagement with students and teachers in every session was fantastic – it was such an enjoyable experience.”

Dr Gareth Evans-Jones, Lecturer in Religious Studies added, “We also held a day conference at Coleg Sir Gâr, where seven schools came together to take part in our courses around the subject itself and exam skills. We have received some feedback already, and students and teachers have been very kind in their responses.”

Professor Nichola Callow, Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education and Student Experience said, “It is fantastic to see the expertise of our staff being recognised and drawn upon by schools and colleges in this way. Congratulations to everyone involved in the success of these events, which all contribute in a very active way to building relationships with schools, colleges and prospective students. This is just the kind of outreach activity which expands our reputation in philosophy, ethics and religious studies throughout Wales and beyond.”
