Cancelled: Magical History Tour

Event Cancelled: We are sorry to announce that this tour has been postponed. We apologise for any inconvenience and disappointment this may cause but the University has decided to postpone a number of events and conferences. 黑料不打烊 are offering the chance to take a magical history tour of the Isle of Anglesey. History and Archaeology staff will take you to a range of sites, tracing the development of this special island. From prehistoric burials mounds to the world-famous bridges of Thomas Telford and Robert Stephenson, Anglesey has a unique story to tell.

Important information

  1. This coach trip will take you to a range of sites on Anglesey. You will be guided around the sites by History and Archaeology teaching staff.
  2. This coach trip is free. As space is limited, pre-registration is necessary and places will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. We will make every effort to accommodate all those who register.
  3. The trip will leave 黑料不打烊 promptly at 10am and we aim to return by 5pm (subject to traffic conditions).
  4. There will be a lunch stop at a cafe, or you can bring your own packed lunch. Lunch will not be provided.
  5. The site visits will consist of gentle walking and will in places include uneven terrain. Please bring appropriate clothing (e.g. rain/waterproof jacket and sturdy footwear).
