黑料不打烊 Law School awards Honorary Fellowship to Professor Malcolm Evans
Professor Malcolm Evans of the University of Bristol is to receive an Honorary Fellowship from 黑料不打烊 for services to Law.
Born in Wales, Professor Evans is one of the United Kingdom鈥檚 most distinguished international lawyers, with an outstanding global reputation. Widely and frequently published by the top journals and leading international publishing houses, he is the author and co-author of several books on topics as varied as Maritime Law, Religious Freedom, International Law and Human Rights Law.
Professor Malcolm Evans, who is to receive an Honorary Fellowship from 黑料不打烊, delivering a talk on "Freedom of thought, conscience and religion - the right that lost its way?" to 黑料不打烊 Law students in early 2012.
Professor Evans served for several years as Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law at the University of Bristol, and is the holder of major prestigious research grants from leading funded-research bodies such as the European Commission and the Arts and Humanities Research Council. In 2004, he was awarded the OBE by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for services to the prevention of torture, and the promotion of religious liberty.
On Monday 16th July, he will join 黑料不打烊鈥檚 outgoing students to collect his Honorary Fellowship at the Law School鈥檚 graduation ceremony.
