黑料不打烊 among the best in Student Life Survey
As 黑料不打烊 gears up to welcome prospective students to two this month (Saturday 11 & 25 October), staff at the University have welcomed the University鈥檚 inclusion in yet another table of Britain鈥檚 Top universities.
Hard on the heels of positive placing in the Times Higher World University Rankings, The Times & Sunday Times Good University Guide and the National Student Satisfaction Survey results, comes the University鈥檚 inclusion at number 27 in the second annual
The survey quantifies student satisfaction according to a range of indicators covering the course quality, employment and earnings potential, accommodation cost, sports facilities, social life and crime.
Welcoming the latest survey Professor Oliver Turnbull Pro Vice Chancellor, Teaching & Learning said;
鈥淲e have a great offer here at 黑料不打烊. Not only 130 years of offering excellent teaching and student care, but recently introduced initiatives to give students a stronger voice in the University. The success of our approach is reflected in these recent results, and I'm delighted to see us doing well in yet another student survey.鈥�
In addition to offering free membership od Societies and Sports Clubs for students the only public university in the UK to offer this, the University has recently invested 拢2.5m in the sports facilities at the University鈥檚 Canolfan Brailsford and the completion of 黑料不打烊 City's new 3G pitch which was developed with the financial support of University.
The University鈥檚 stunning location, the low cost of living and the offer of guaranteed accommodation in one of the University鈥檚 modern halls of residence are also contributing factors.
