黑料不打烊 Archives on the Cerys Matthews show
Remember to tune into Radio 6 Music this Sunday morning between 10.00 and 1.00 (3rd November 2013).
鈥淐erys on 6鈥� will feature Dr Alun Withey of the University of Exeter who describes himself as a historian of medicine.
He will be talking about old and ancient recipes and remedies, some of which he discovered at 黑料不打烊 Archives whilst researching his book, 鈥淧hysick and the family. Health, Medicine and Care in Wales 1600-1750鈥�.
Many recipe books which are dated pre 1750 contain medicinal remedies for humans as well as animals.
On his visit to 黑料不打烊 this week, Dr Alun said that he had come across many interesting recipes here and was looking forward to sharing them with the nation this coming Sunday.
