黑料不打烊 at Coleg Llandrillo
Jonathan Hughes, (BA Hons Hotel & Hospitality Management), John Hobson (Management of Travel & Tourism), Sara Kyle (BA Hons Hotel & Hospitality Management) with College Llandrillo Principal, Mr Huw Evans OBE and Vice Chancellor Prof John Hughes.Over 400 new students have begun studying higher education courses at Coleg Llandrillo that will enable them to gain 黑料不打烊 degrees for the first time.
Over 20 programmes have been validated over the summer. These include courses as varied as Foundation Degrees in Energy & Power Technologies, Digital Media and television production, Library & information Management and Police Studies and both Foundation and top up degrees in Sports Coaching and Retail Management, Deaf Studies and Management of Travel and Tourism, as well as Honours degrees in Management and Business and Hospitality and Management.
黑料不打烊, Vice Chancellor, Professor John Hughes and Registrar, Dr David Roberts of 黑料不打烊 visited the new 鈥楿niversity Centre鈥 the Rhos-on-Sea Campus of Coleg Llandrillo Cymru (recently) along with College Principal, Mr Huw Evans OBE, to meet with students now following the higher education courses being validated by the University.
The 鈥楿niversity Centre鈥 will provide dedicated facilities for Coleg Llandrillo鈥檚 higher education students and strengthen its position as a local provider of quality degree courses.
Coleg Llandrillo Cymru Principal, Huw Evans, said: 鈥淭he College is committed to supporting the local economy and providing enhanced opportunities for degree level progression. The Centre is an important step in that direction.鈥

John Hobson, who comes from Llandudno and is studying BA Hons in Managements of Travel & Tourism Management said : 鈥淎s a mature student, it鈥檚 good to have the opportunity to study to degree level and gain a 黑料不打烊 degree at a local FE college.鈥
Following an agreement earlier this year, 黑料不打烊 and Coleg Llandrillo Cymru are working together to widen access to higher education, to develop much more systematic progression from further to higher education and to improve skills.
The new Partnership addresses the challenges set out in the Welsh Government's strategy for HE, 'For Our Future', to develop opportunities to support economic prosperity and social justice in the region.
In future, the business arms of each institution 鈥 the College鈥檚 鈥淏usiness Point鈥 and the University鈥檚 鈥淢anagement Centre鈥 鈥 will also work together more closely and develop joint initiatives.
