Exceptional 黑料不打烊 student awarded posthumous degree
An 鈥渆xceptional鈥 student was awarded a posthumous degree at 黑料不打烊 this week after her tragic death earlier this year. Scarlett Salisbury, who was a third-year student at the university died on March 18, just days after her 21st birthday.
She left behind her mum Lowri, dad Jeremy and brother Henry. Scarlett was only weeks away from finishing her studies and was be awarded a 2-1 Media Studies degree based on her completed work.
黑料不打烊 professor, Chris Collins, head of the School said:
"She was an exceptional student, always ready to contribute excellent ideas, and to share her passions to make the world a better place.
"She was a very familiar face around the university, and everyone will remember her incredible positivity and her great sense of humour.
"She鈥檒l be hugely missed.鈥
Students at the School of Music and Media graduated on Thursday, 18 July. Scarlett Salisbury received a standing ovation at the ceremony as her degree was confirmed.
