Mr Gwilym Owen nominated for 鈥楲aw Lecturer of the Year鈥� award
Another member of teaching staff at 黑料不打烊 Law School has been nominated for a prestigious teaching award.
Gwilym Owen, Lecturer in Law, has been shortlisted for the 鈥楲aw Lecturer of the Year鈥� prize at LawCareers.Net鈥檚 annual Training and Recruitment Awards. The winner will be announced at a ceremony in London on Thursday, 22 May.
Gwilym鈥檚 nomination reflects the high quality of pastoral care for which 黑料不打烊 Law School is renowned. Gwilym himself has been instrumental in maximising students鈥� career opportunities by co-ordinating an internship scheme and organising the School鈥檚 first ever , which gave current students an invaluable opportunity to network with barristers, solicitors and lawyers. He has also devised a workshop for the Land Law module, in which students, academics and practitioners discuss legal concepts in relation to actual deeds.
