What difference has obtaining a Commonwealth Shared Scholarship made?

It has made a significant difference in my education. My problem regarding tuition was immediately resolved. Now I can make the most of my college experience by participating in a variety of activities such as volunteering and service learning.

How did your application stand out?

My application contained a wealth of information about my work experience, my interests, the skills I would acquire through my chosen course, and how I intend to utilize these skills in the future. It articulated the issue I wish to address in my community, the method by which I intend to address it, and the impact of my efforts. It was a razor-sharp application.

Your tips for a good scholarship application?

1.  Ascertain your eligibility for the scholarship and the programme for which you are applying.
2. Contact the department to confirm that you are a good fit for the course offered.
3. Navigate thoroughly through the course programme page and familiarize yourself with the content, but do not copy and paste any information.

The best part about your ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ studies so far?

My studies have been incredible thus far.  I am acquiring precisely the skills I have been craving in the modules, particularly Global Food Security and Agroforestry Systems & Practice. Field practice has added flavour to this programme, and because the staff are so knowledgeable, I have enjoyed everything thus far. I've met students from all over the world and am truly in touch with them. I have no regrets about applying for this MSc Agroforestry and Food Security programme. ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ is truly the “Forestry Capital of the World."

2. Never give up if you are unsuccessful on the first attempt. Persist and have faith in yourself. A slogan I picked up while applying is: "Until we all triumph."
