• Invited visit to the Center for Anytime Anywhere Analytics (CA3), which conducts research in ubiquitous and immersive analytics (UA/IA). We had the opportunity to discuss our ongoing collaboration on Ubiquitous, Immersive and Situated Analytics, as well as other XR applications, which has already resulted in several publications – for example, the DashSpace platform for Ubiquitous and Immersive Analytics, to be presented as a paper (TVCG) and a tutorial in IEEE VIS Conference 2025.

• Years 5 and 6 from Ysgol Rhosneigr visited the school for a day of workshops including building hand glider out of household items, code-breaking and sending messages using Morse code.

2024

• The 2024 Data Art Exhibition will be on display in the Pontio foyer from Monday 20th-Monday 27th May 2024. The exhibition was open, free to attend. It showcases academic research, output from an interactive workshop, and demonstrates the artistic beauty of data. It consists of work from students on the ICE-3121 Creative Visualisation module (ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ), researchers from ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ, the local community and Aberystwyth University.
