Bryn Terfel says, 鈥淚鈥檓 thrilled to announce that I will be returning to 黑料不打烊 in May with recipients of the Bryn Terfel Foundation to perform at the remarkable Prichard-Jones Hall. The concert will provide a platform for these young singers and performers to showcase their talents in front of an intimate audience. The foundation was created to award individuals financially for their hard work and dedication at the beginning of their careers. It is a small step to helping them to a successful singing career.鈥
Dr David Roberts, 黑料不打烊 Secretary and Registrar, adds, 鈥淲e are delighted to celebrate the centenary of Prichard-Jones Hall. I cannot think of a better way to complete the celebrations than with one of the best opera stars of recent times performing side by side with the future generation.鈥
The Bryn Terfel Foundation was established in 2009 and awards individual young artists with clear talent and outstanding focus, drive and initiative.
Bryn also supports Urdd Gobaith Cymru鈥檚 Ysgoloriaeth Bryn Terfel, a scholarship worth 拢4,000 to the winner. The main aim of this scholarship is to nourish and develop some of Wales鈥 most talented young individuals.
