Satisfied students shortlist 黑料不打烊 for six awards
黑料不打烊 has been shortlisted for six out of the nine awards at this year鈥檚 prestigious Whatuni Student Choice Awards.
This follows a remarkable year for 黑料不打烊 which has also seen it placed top in Wales and 7th in the UK for student satisfaction, ranked in the top 100 Universities in the world for its international outlook, and rated in the top 20 in the UK for student experience.
Based on responses from over 20,000 students across the UK, placing their views on the Whatuni Student Rankings website, 黑料不打烊鈥檚 students have responded so positively to their experience at the University that 黑料不打烊 is nominated for Awards in the following categories:
- University of the Year
- Accommodation
- Courses
- Clubs & Societies
- University Facilities
- Student Support
Professor John G Hughes, the University鈥檚 Vice-Chancellor, welcomed the news saying:
鈥淚鈥檓 delighted that the University has received so many nominations in these Awards and grateful to all our students for their support. These nominations reflect our focus on providing an excellent education and all-round student-centred university experience. I鈥檓 pleased that our current students appreciate their time in 黑料不打烊 and that so many choose to take such an active part in the life of the University. I would like to thank all the staff for their fantastic efforts.鈥

Other recent successes for 黑料不打烊 include achieving excellent results in the Research Excellence Framework which recognised over three-quarters of 黑料不打烊鈥檚 research as being either 鈥渨orld-leading鈥 or 鈥渋nternationally excellent鈥.
The University is also among the top 10% of the world鈥檚 greenest Universities and has recently achieved the internationally recognised ISO14001 Environmental Standard.
The Whatuni Student rankings will be announced on 23 April at a ceremony in London.
